How deep do you grind the stump?
Usually to around 15 to 30cm below the surface, which is enough for new turf or planting. If you are laying a base for a shed or paving we can grind deeper, just let us know what the ground is for.
What happens to the wood chippings?
We can use them to backfill the hole, leave them for you to use as mulch, or clear them away, whichever you prefer.
Can you grind a stump near walls or fences?
In most cases, yes. We will take a look at the access and how close the stump is to anything solid, then advise on the best approach.
